Inventa Orbit
Employer's Agent, Client Representative, and Project Manager to deliver the fit-out of the ground floor laboratory and first floor office at Inventa.
Orbit Discovery is a University of Oxford spinout, founded in 2015, that operates a high-throughput, bead-based peptide display platform that enables the rapid identification of functional peptide therapeutic candidates across a wide range of disease areas, including oncology, autoimmune, metabolic, cardiovascular, and infectious diseases. Its technology interrogates peptide libraries at scale against both soluble and membrane-bound targets, providing pharmaceutical and biotech partners with well-characterised hits as starting points for drug development.
Having outgrown its previous premises, Orbit signed a new lease at Inventa, joining a cluster of innovation companies, including Nucleome Therapeutics and Xyme. The move provided the company with modern, purpose-fitted space designed to support the next phase of its growth.
EEDN acted as Employer's Agent, Client Representative, and Project Manager to deliver the fit-out of the ground floor laboratory and first floor office at Inventa. The works created 8,300 sq ft of reconfigured laboratory and office accommodation with contractor Bulb Interiors. EEDN administered the contract from mobilisation through to practical completion, managing delivery of the space within a tight timescale.
